Dr.V.Gopalakrishnan is a Gold Medalist in his Post Graduate Course (M.Com) in the year 1979 and joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration.  He became the Head of the Department of Commerce during the year 1982-83 and he has been serving in our institution for the past 31 years.  He acquired his Doctorate in Commerce in the year 1991 from Madurai Kamaraj University and has completed one Minor Research Project funded by UGC.  He is a recognized Research Guide for Ph.D. Programme in Commerce of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and has been guiding M.Phil. Scholars in various Universities.  He has published five research papers in various reputed journals.  He has served as a Course Director for more than 20 guidance courses of UGC- NET/SET examinations and also served as Resource Person for many guidance courses of various competitive examinations conducted by Sivanthi Academy.
